Mitsubishi ASX, new prices
The compact SUV from Mitsubishi comes with new prices for its range and a series of developments focused on the technical and supply of equipment. The starting price of ASX are in the 20,720 euros.
In an increasingly competitive segment, in which new models over time, Mitsubishi has done a job of positioning its ‘crossover’ compact, the ASX, updating some details and prices and rivals such as the XV Subaru and Nissan Qashqai in the spotlight.
Many of the changes undertaken in the ASX focus on the mechanical. The turbo thrusters is now smaller, with a new internal geometry and a new valve opening system to improve response at low revs. This also helps in improving the delivery of torque from 1,750 rpm now until 2,250 rpm, as previously done at 2,000 revolutions per minute.
Brand new Mitsubishi ASX techniques do not stay here. Also optimized air intake and reduced internal friction, have changed the gear ratios and have established a new calibration of the electronic engine ECU.
As for the equipment, the upholstery of the seats and the lining of the central area of the door have the same tissue, the center panel is black titanium color with glow effect and air conditioning controls, system and equipment AWC sound, and the rings on the instrument panel clocks are chrome. Finally, in the security section, the ASX equipped with standard brake prioritization system, a system that, while stepping on the brake and accelerator pedal, the braking action puts off the accelerator.
Same offer mechanical
The Mitsubishi ASX retains the existing three engine options. On the one hand, the supply of petrol engines are only 160 MPI 117 hp, and on the other, we have 200 DID Diesel 150 hp and 180 DID 116. The first diesel engines is the only one who is associated with the all-wheel drive 4WD.
Meanwhile, the 180 DID has modified some of its components for a 5.5 percent reduction in fuel consumption, and down from 143 to 136 g / km CO2 emissions of CO2.
The commitment to give the ASX a more urban character is evident, especially seen the use that is given today to such vehicles: getting around town, going to pick up the kids in the car or carrying groceries home , with good occupancy and are spacious, also to travel half-point long haul.
